External GPU compatibility

I'm planning on buying the Lenovo YOGA 9 14ITL5. I tried asking Lenovo if the laptop supports external GPUs but they weren't sure so they said to contact the manufacturer so now I'm asking you.

This is what they said: ¨Upon checking through the Yoga 9 laptop's specifications, it does have Thunderbolt 4 connector (2 ports) that supports data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort 1.4 and Always On feature.

With this, it should be compatible to use external GPU(s), however, it would be still advisable to get in touch with the manufacturer (GPU) to inquire if their item is fully compatible with the Yoga 9 laptop.¨
