Kraken X Lite sounds muffled and strange

Hello, i recently bought this headset for playing CS:GO mostly. I updated my Windows 7 to 10 to use Razer Surround software, so my PC had no programs at all, and all drivers updated. Then i installed CS:GO and the sound was really muffled and strange, i couldn't know where the steps were coming from and the shots were much louder than other sounds. The sound was really bassy and muffled. Is there something wrong or is it just the way it is supposed to sound? I'd really appreciate some help, because i spent some money in this headset and if nothing changes i won't be able to use it. Also, i was asking myself if i need a sound card for it to work properly.
