Laptop not detecting Kraken mic at all.

I received my new Razer Kraken today and it's the version with the 3.5mm jack that says it's for audio and mic but only the sound is working, even though in the sounds tab in control panel it doesn't even detect it as a headset, it detects it as speakers. But in the recording tab it just isn't there at all, also isn't in disabled devices.
Note to say the 'speakers' it detects the headset as isn't got Razer anywhere in the name.

I don't know if this is a problem with drivers or Realtek, this is just really annoying and I can't find a fix anywhere online.
