I agree, i already made 100 000 silvers in a week (just once but it was awesome).

Voting you need to make informed decisions (research required)

Competitions depends on the Tournament / game / region.
Some Tournaments the top 8 win silver. If there are only 6 participants = Instant win.
Never know the skill level of the players. Some times you just need to show up. other times you hope the player is just as new as you.

Exactly. The goal is to have streak as long as possible at the end of the week/month/season. The higher the rank, the better the prizes.
