No Bluetooth on calls...

So I got a new(ish) car, 2015 KIA Optima Sx Turbo. I can't get the audio when I make calls to come from the car speakers it switched to regular mode and when I select bluetooth it hangs in limbo then goes back to regular, but I can hear audio when playing Spotify.

I have cleared the cache from Bluetooth in the apps.

If someone can point me to the right direction that would be great.

I'm running Pie 9, February 5th 2019 update.

Similar issue with 2015 Chrysler 200s, I'll be connected to hands-free and then disconnect for no apparent reason

I have the same issue on my 2015 Hyundai Gensis! Nothing I do fixes it.

I have the same exact issue on 2015 Kia Optima EX. Previous Samsung Galaxy S8 had no connectivity issues. Also no connectivity issues for 2014 Acura RDX with this Razer Phone 2.

When call is made or received, the car system loads the call on its system then the phone hangs up on it on the car side and then handles the call on itself. It feels like a glitch in the software in desperate need of a patch.

I purchased this phone a few days ago from my carrier, new and just finished setting it up. It has been updated Runs Pie. Bluetooth speakers work and media on the car via Spotify.

Razer Phone 2 support options is relegated to merely sending them an email through their contact portal.

I sent them this message:

Purchased phone via AT&T website. Updated phone. I connected phone to 2015 Kia Optima bluetooth successfully. Only allows media playback. I cannot use car call funtions. When call is placed/ received it drops the bluetooth connection immediately for phone. Still conneceted to car for media. Phone calls selected in phone bluetooth setting for car.

Their phone line only works 9-6pm PST and results in no option for mobile inquiries.

Their live chat feature fails to connect for me. EDIT: I got it working for me and have had an extensive conversation with Dorothy. I have included a transcript of the chat

TLDR; I went through all the troubleshooting from clearing cache to hard reset to updating everything and problem persists.

She has passed the issue to the development team.

I have sent her a link to this thread and requested someone to respond to it to keep it updated.
