Ive recently bought the Razer Core X Chroma for my 2019 Razer blade 15 adv with 2080Qmax.
Im planning on purchasing a nvidia rtx 2080 ti. However, ive noticed there are several versions - Asus, Founders Edition, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI etc....
Why are there so many versions? Which one will be best for my razer laptop setup? Im confused on what to purchase. Note - I mostly do video work and a little bit of gaming.
Thanks

Gtx2080 is a chipset produced by Nvidia. Manufactures like msi , Asus , gigabyte etc buys the Nvidia chip and build their own circuit board and fit the Nvidia chip, fans etc . It is then sold as a graphics card as ready to install product
There's some performance differences between each of those brands as each manufacturer circuitry and quality differs, even though the Nvidia chipset used might be same. Check some reviews before you buy. Especially take note of the fan noise and thermals , as some manufacturer might sell a graphic card at low price and cheap out on the cooling kit and fans. It is noisy and hot as hell after months of usage.
