On Screen Notifications don´t work while in-game

Hi, I tried to reply on an existing thread, but I did not have sufficient privilege's.

I have turned off the Steam Overlay and am also using "Borderless" mode, however, I still cannot see the Razer Synapse Mouse DPI notifications.

Any other suggestions?

I have exactly the same problem!
Yesterday I became a proud owner of a DeathAdder V2, the notifications work fine untill I start a game.

I always play on borderless mode so I can easily use my second monitor, and I was playing Cold War and had no overlays on whatsoever. Steam was closed, Discord overlay was turned of and couldn't find any overlay information or settings on Blizzard.

Only thing I can do now is open Synapse on my second monitor to see what DPI I have.

I hope there is a fix for this.

Ok, so I found a solution.

The problem is the overlay from Nvidia.

If you don't care about their overlay and features, you can just disable it in the GeForce Experience settings under "OVERLAY IN GAME"

If you do care and want it, you need to disable it, then enable it while you are in game. Like in the game menu.

For some weird reason then the On Screen Notifications from Synapse will work again.

My change profile notification stop working in warzone (borderless mode)
I don't have any overlays on, on any programs. I don't have nvidia either, so can't do the @Stralique fix.
Heard that disabling steam overlay fixes it, but i don't even have steam running (/synapse-3-showing-when-it-switches-profiles.32412/)

Any other solutions?

Yes first check to make sure you don't have xbox game dvr's overlay running. You can find out how to disable it (and other overlays) here: https://support-leagueoflegends.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001277667-Disabling-Overlays

Second, make sure you are logged into synapse and your profiles are all backed up to the cloud.

Third go to add remove programs find razer synapse, select it, press modify, select repair.
