Razer Barracuda has hollow and bad sounding audio.

Hello! My brand new Razer Barracuda seems to have very clear audio for my programs/clients/apps ONLY when i am currently tabbed into the said app/program/client itself. The issue with this is that when im not tabbed into the thing it all sounds hollow and very bad. It sounds that way with some games too. I can clearly hear when the audio shifts in quality because theres a click sound when it shifts down or up in quality. I dont know if its an issue with my audio devices or if its an issue with THX. I want to be able to have clear audio in my headset regardless of what im tabbed into. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
