Razer Base Station Chroma Lighting Issues

So.
I bought a Razer Base Station Chroma two days ago, and it arrived yesterday. From the get go, I had problems with it. When I plugged it in to my computer, it would work for about 20 seconds before my 'wave' lighting would freeze, and Razer Synapse would show that my Base Station was no longer connected. After 5-10 seconds, it would reconnect and repeat this cycle.
I figured it was a problem with the amount of power it needs, so I bought an ANKER powered USB Hub (Basically, a USB plugin strip that connects to my laptop and a wall outlet). This has not solved my problem. (Also, when I have my Goliathus Extended Chroma and Firefly V2 plugged into the USB Hub with the Base Station, they freeze in time with the Base Station. However, I unplug the base station, they work fine off the USB Hub. Similarly, when I have them both plugged into my computer, they work fine unless my Base Station is plugged in as well.)
Would anyone happen to know the power requirements of the Base Station Chroma, or do I just have a faulty device?
Any help is appreciated!

Hey there! Thanks for posting your Razer Base Station Chroma concern here. That is odd. Does the issue happen if the only peripheral connected is the Base Station Chroma? Are you connecting the Base Station Chroma to a USB 3.0 port on your computer or to another computer?
