Razer Basilisk Hyperspeed X connecting issues

Hey there,

I have got the Razer Basilisk Hyperspeed X since august and I am having some weird issues.
Before I've updated the firmware of the mouse, the mouse got into the standby mode after just a few minutes. It did reconnect after a few seconds of moving the mouse, but it was way to frequent.
I thought, hmm ok I should try updating the mouse.
After the update... the mouse showed disconnecting issues (that is even worse). Sometimes the mouse just disconnects and doesn't show in the Razer Synapse anymore. It's just gone lol. Even after plugging the receiver into another USB-port. The only thing that works is re-inserting the battery.
Thank god it doesn't happen every few minutes, but it's terrible when it happens :/
Anyone has a fix? I've already changed the power settings of the USB-ports, tried removing the mouse drivers in the device manager.... nothing seems to fix this problem.
I am also having mouse look issues in games, while pressing the right mouse button sometimes, the camera just flips upwards.

Well I pretty much retired my Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed mouse when my Pro Click 2020 came on Friday afternoon... wish I could send ya my working one as long as you paid for it, mine already got latest firmware flashed to it and still working as of 09/04/20 :)

I bought mine the day it came out back in December last year also, so I am the original owner of it, and have the original packaging too 🙂
Oddly enough, my new one that replaced the old one is working perfectly.
I think it was an issue with the old one 😶

Well hopefully you have better luck on updating the firmware to it as mine went flawless, just took around 5min to update it or so since u gotta update the firmware both ways (2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes) and this is typical for most of the wireless mice that are out there (but some require you to plug in the wire if it has one with it)
I am running a mouse with the newest firmware, and it still stutters and lags and disconnects. I have gone through 4 mouse now.

Pff I know that kind of feeling, I quit after trying a second time.
Now I got the Razer Basilisk Ultimate, no regrets!
