    Earlier in the day I was just watching youtube when suddenly the screen goes out. Mind you the laptop was on low battery and not plugged in. Thinking that was the problem, I charged it and turned the laptop on a 2nd time with the display off. ( The blade had both the keyboard and back razer logo lit up so I know theres power in the razer).
    I was all out of options and had no clue what had happened when I decided to point my flashlight straight into the display. All of a sudden I was able to barely and I mean BARELY see my desktop display.
    I also tried turning the brightness up but that didn't do anything.

    If I don't have my flashlight pointed onto the screen the display is pretty much just black almost as if it is off.

    PS. currently hooked up to an external display and am able to use the blade okay but not planning on having a setup like this forever.

    From your description, we're most likely dealing with a faulty display and would need to be repaired. That said, can you put up a video detailing the issue and send it over to me via PM?

  4. Was there a fix to this? I am experiencing the same issue, only I cannot see anything when shining a light at the screen.

    Does your B15 boot at all? Please send me a PM so we can try to troubleshoot.

    I faced the same situation today. I was playing one of my games whilst plugged in and all of a sudden the screen goes black. I can see it barely with a flashlight but without it, nothing.
    Please let me know what I could do about it. Do note that I bought my Razer Blade 15 Base just 2 months ago from Amazon.
