Hello all,

I have been having issues with a new pair of headphones that connect fine elsewhere. I use them with my work and personal phones (iphone13pro, pixel 3a) as well as my work laptop and can easily walk 20-40 feet without any issues. With the razer I can only make them connect by setting them within 6inches of the left side of the laptop but they will disconnect as soon as they're more than a foot away.

Headphones are a pair of Audio Technica M50x BT2.

I've tried reinstalling the Intel (R) Wireless Bluetooth (R) and Headphone Bluetooth drivers multiple times to no luck.

Have tried cycling power, bluetooth, airplane mode as well.

I just tested with two other pairs of headphones, Plantronics voyager and unknown brand 4 year old chinese bluetooth earbuds. It appears the connection sweet spot is over the left side of the keyboard. All the other devices connect and pair fine until moved more than 6 inches from that location.

Bluetooth antenna connection?

Ensure that your laptop's operating system has received its latest Windows and Synapse updates. Also, try installing the Intel Driver and Support Assistant and check if it offers the latest driver updates for your unit. Did you try upgrading and creating changes in the Windows OS recently? My problem remains completely unchanged with the exact same conditions. Bluetooth devices only pair when within a few inches of the capslock key and disconnect when moved from that location.

Can you provide motherboard schematics showing the bluetooth card and antenna details?

Sorry to hear that the issue is still present after the recommended steps. The team does not have a diagram/schematics showing the internal components of the laptop.
