Razer Blade Pro (2015) sudden shutdown

Hello there!

I have a Razer Blade Pro (2015) model and it has been great until recently it started doing sudden shutdown, No warning or bluescreen. Just power off. When i power it back on, it starts up with the logo and windows so its not like it went on sleep mode. Couple of things i notice is that even though my battery doesnt show that it needs replacement, charging it is very slow. My laptop does not overheat or anything, that is the only concern that i have that the it lost stability. Please advise.

Thank you!

Hey there! Thanks for posting your laptop's concern here. Please perform the steps here and see if it helps. Should the issue persists, please replicate the random shutdown while the laptop's is on Windows safe mode by following the steps below:

1. Click the Windows button On/Off.
2. Hold down the Shift key and click Restart.
3. Click the option Troubleshoot and then Advanced options.
4. Afterward, go to “Advanced options” and click Start-up Settings.
5. Under “Start-up Settings”, click Restart.
6. There are several boot options will be displayed. Select "Enable Safe Mode with Networking".

I'll wait for your follow-up.

Hello Speed Hunter,

I followed the Battery troubleshooting. The same steps were given to me when i called Tech support. I have not drained it yet however I will and let you know.

While draining the laptop, I am currently on Safe Mode with Networking. I will let you know if the issue happens while on this state.

Thank you!

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I've suggested you do it with Safe Mode with Networking so you can still use the internet. If you want to test the laptop and check if the battery drains quickly without any apps running in the background, you can load it on Windows Safe Mode only. I'll wait for your follow-up.
