Razer Core X Correct Driver

Hello,
I purchased a razer core x and a AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card. At first I thought the card was running perfect because I saw a notification saying the card has been enabled but after playing a game that was defaulted to low settings I see that it was running on my razer stealth 12.5" default graphics. I tried to download the AMD driver files on the razer site and the install was successful but nothing has changed. there is a small light on in the core x but the fans are still and my laptop is doing all the work. i downloaded the razer GPU switcher and get notified that I do not have a compatible driver installed even though I downloaded the only AMD driver from razer. I also downloaded the correct driver for my graphics card on the AMD website.
Any help is appreciated.

Hey there! Thanks for posting your Razer Core X concern to our Support board. Have you updated your laptop to the latest Windows update? Did you use this link when you updated your AMD driver? Also, please download and install the latest Intel graphics drivers and see if it helps.
Hello, yes I also talked to the razer support and updated to newest windows installed the AMD driver and intel driver. I also deleted and re downloaded the supported razer thunderbolt driver. My razer core x does not do anything when connecting to my computer but I get notified that the AMD driver is connected and there is a little red light from the AMD graphics card in the core. But when I use the razer boost software under my rig it auto connects the intel graphics from my laptop. When I run a game my laptop fans are the ones running while the core fans are still. I guess I was not supposed to use the GPU switcher but that at least gives me some notification because when I connect the razer core I dont get any info about that. The GPU switcher says I have a unsupported driver but I think that is because it is old and doesn't recognize the new driver. Is there some sort of razer core x driver I can download or software?

Thanks for telling me its full details. That's quite odd. Are you connecting the Razer Core X to an external monitor? If yes, what connection type are you using to link the Razer Core X and laptop to your monitor? The drivers can be downloaded from our support page by clicking this link. Please send me a PM together with your laptop's serial number and email address so I can check if there are notes from our Support Team regarding your Razer Core X issue.
