Razer Kraken 7.1 v2 mic works but stops after a few minutes in both discord and steam voice chat

So the mic works fine when I first enter steam or discord or Ventrillo voice chat. After a few minutes (random time) it will just stop sending audio. I can still hear everyone else but my mic stops transmitting.
-it works fine with my old headset so I know its not the software configuration.
-if I leave the voice chat and rejoin it works again for a few minutes then stops transmitting again.

Any ideas? I'm baffled. Thanks so much for help in advance.

@jhunkins Do you have Synapse running in the background when this happens and do you notice any sort of trend? For now, reinstall the device drivers then test it out without Razer Apps running in the background. Shoot me a PM with the serial number of your headset if the problem persists.
Me and a friend of mine bought a Kraken 7.1 v2 and we have the same problem.
While we're playing a game with the Steam voice chat on, we hear like a bump and both headphone and mic stop working. The whole audio subsystem stops working. No events recorded in Windows log. When we exit from the voice chat, the audio comes back in the game. Then we can enter again in the voice chat and it works for a while.
We uninstalled the drivers multiple times and tried with and without Synapse installed. It seems it's more stable with Synapse, but it always crashes. When we use other voice chat programs, like the one inside Origin or the one embedded in Elite Dangerous, we never had a problem.
I replaced the headphone with my previous Asus one and it worked for days. I switched back to Kraken and it started crashing again.
We tried almost everything we can, no idea how to fix it.

That's a tough one. Have you tried reaching out to our Peripherals Support about this? In any case, send me a PM with the serial number of your headset so I can look into possible options if not fixes.
