Razer Kraken Kitty Model:RZ04-02980200-R3M1 issues on PC only

    Hello,

    I am hoping someone can help me. I love these headphones, but I started having issues with them on my PC. They work perfectly fine on my laptop, no issue. They used to work fine on my PC, but I started having issues a couple months ago where they'd pop in and out and its gotten to the point where I can't use them at all unless I disconnect/reconnect/restart my PC a million times and then maybe i'll get a few hours with them before it happens again. On top of that, I think I must have messed something else up in the process of trying to fix them...I can get them to work on the USB ports on the back panel of my PC more frequently than the front, but then the audio is completely messed up and distorted.

    It seems they don't register as an audio device a lot of the time, my PC will recognize the device but it will swap between audio and "other" device. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers, uninstalled the headset, uninstalled razer cortex/synapse and reinstalled, I've set all the USB power options to not turn off for power saving as well as the device itself, I have set the device as my default.. I've tried so many things and probably spent upwards of 10 hours cumulatively trying to fix this dang headset.

    I also have an old cheap af headset from Amazon that works perfectly fine on my PC. Any suggestions are appreciated.. I just have no idea why this particular headset wont work here.

    Have you tried doing the steps here? Try to update the audio driver of your PC and the Synapse application as well. Feel free to check our self-help for product updates and troubleshooting steps or PM me anytime should you need further assistance.
