Razer Kraken Ultimate Edition wont detect my games

I have a Razer Kraken Ultimate Edition that I got about 3 months ago, I've always kept the THX Spacial Surround Sound thing off because it makes all my audio sound like its being pushed through a thick wool blanket (Not the question I know, but if anyone has a way to improve this muffledness I would gladly hear it).

I just got Resident Evil 3 and went, hell why not ill turn it on for the extra spooks, but synapse doesn't seem to recognize RE3 as a program that makes sound. In the "Mixer" Tab in synapse, under the "THX Spacial Surround Sound" tab, many of my programs are there, but not RE3. Since I'm playing it through steam I guessed that maybe it didn't notice the actual executable and just the launcher, but after launching it from its exe it still doesn't recognize RE3.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, because nothing aggravates me more than a computer telling me something doesn't exist when it clearly does. Also any help with the Surround Sound "Muffled" effect would be very nice, I realize its VIRTUAL surround sound so the audio is gonna sound less crisp, but if my audio is EXTRA muffled I'd like to know.
