Razer Kraken X Microphone Issues

I bought the Kraken X yesterday to use as both a gaming headset and a microphone, however my microphone is not being detected by both of my laptops, one running Windows 10 64-bit, the other is running Mac OS X.
After some testing it seemed the microphone wasn't the problem however, as it worked with Siri on an iPad completely fine.

I'm thinking about returning the product if I cannot get the microphone to work as it was the main reason I bought the Kraken X in the first place, so I've come here to ask for some help with this, other tutorials have not been useful and I hope there will be some people here who can help.

This is the laptop I was hoping to use this with:
Dell Latitude 3300

In a nutshell, I'd love to not return this product, but if I do what should I replace it with? I'd like some suggestions if possible.
