Razer Nari Ultimate constantly disconnecting and reconnecting

Hello all.
I purchased a Razer Nari Ultimate a week ago and was excited to receive such a good gaming headset (or from what I initially heard). I plugged it in the day I got it, and after downloading updates and such for my Razer Synapse, I decided to hop into a few games for a test run. Quite quickly after starting up a game, the headset's audio would crackle as if the connection was slowly deteriorating. This was followed by a continuous cycle of beeps which indicated that the headset had gone into a rapid loop disconnecting and reconnecting. I unplugged the dongle, and it was extremely hot to the touch. The USB plug itself was very hot and damn made me almost drop the dongle. After it cooled down, I tried to plug it back in again to reconnect and hope it was a 1 time thing. Suffice to say, it wasn't. I searched all over the internet to find fixes for the problem, including the Razer Nari Ultimate tools for dongle recovery and re-pairing, uninstalling Razer Synapse, resetting the software and charging the Nari back up again. Whilst I was doing my searching, I found others who had the same problem of the constant reconnecting and disconnecting, although not a single one mentioned the USB dongle overheating. I sense that the overheating is causing the dongle to malfunction and lose connection with the USB port, as what happens with a standard USB flash drive. As to what is causing the overheating itself, I'm assuming a shorted component (although the headset does work perfectly for the small moment before it overheats) (my USB port is also not at fault as I run a Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed in the same exact port when I tried finding the cause of the problem). Can someone please tell me if their connecting and disconnecting problem with the dongle features the overheating dongle as well? I want these headsets to work badly.
Thanks.

Overheating of the dongle is not normal at all and is highly likely a hardware problem. I can start a case to request a replacement dongle for your headset. Just PM me the serial number and share a copy of your receipt so I can validate its model and warranty status.
