Razer Pro Type non-responsive after going to sleep over Bluetooth

Hello,

My ProType doesn't reconnect properly after the keyboard goes to sleep.
Here's what I did:

  • Pair the keyboard to my PC with bluetooth (at this point everything is fine and the keyboard is lovely to type on)
  • Walk away for the sleep duration specified in Synapse (I've tried 1 minute for testing, but usually have this at 10)
  • After the keyboard is asleep, try to use my computer again.

Once the keyboard is asleep, it doesn't seem to reconnect properly. The pairing light flashes for a few seconds when I press keys, but I can't use the keyboard to wake up the computer, enter a password, etc.
If, once I wake up the computer, I check my Bluetooth Device list, it shows the keyboard as 'Paired.' I have to remove and re-add the device to get it back to a 'Connected' state.

My bluetooth drives are up to date, I've applied all the latest windows updates, etc.
My ProClick mouse doesn't have the same issue - it reconnects flawlessly after going to sleep.

I've seen other threads here and in Windows support that suggest disabling sleep functions on the bluetooth radio or other related devices, and have followed all of those to no avail.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Do you mind testing something for me? From sleep, turn the keyboard off, then turn it back on again. This time, don't tinker with the BT settings. Let me know if the keyboard pairs with the PC properly or if there is still a need to remove and re-add it to the system. You will also want to set the keyboard as a device that can wake the PC up from sleep. Send me the serial number if you need further assistance.
