I just bought a Razer Naga Trinity and I choose the 7 extra button side panel to start off with. I went to start key mapping for hotkeys in an MMO (Aion) and I was quickly disheartened when I found that I can only quick key existing keyboard functions.
My question is, is there anyway to create a keymapping as an actual "extra mouse button" bind? For example if you just have a normal mouse they often have the 2 additional buttons on the left side, normally referred to as the page forward and page back keys, but as a hot key identification they just come up as "Extra Mouse key 5" or what have you. Is there anyway to get the extra mouse keys to have this same value so I can set them up without conflicting with already existing hot key shortcuts?
