plugged controller in usb port, appears as xbox gaming device in device manager, 'best drivers for device installed'
any suggestions?

synapse is latest version, windows update has no updates, rebooted a couple of times

Use synapse for xbox one. Its a separate app designed for wolverine TE and Ultimate. Regular synapses will not work.

Unfortunately Razer support already explained to me that this will not allow chroma syncing with my keyboard / mouse / hue etc. so I had to return the controller.
It would be helpful if Razer made this clear on their website
