Stealth 2019 Webcam Flickers During Charging

Hey everyone,

Just picked up the Stealth a couple of days ago - came pre-installed with BIOS 1.06. When the laptop is plugged in, whether charging or at 100% capacity, the webcam video flickers constantly.

I can't find a fix for this online - I came over to the stealth from the Huawei Matebook X Pro specifically for that webcam (among other things). Thoughts?

I now know the root cause of this - it only occurs on BIOS 1.06. Is there a later BIOS, or any way to revert to the prior bios?

As far as I know, there is no way to rollback to an older BIOS version as of this time. Do you mind sending me a PM with the serial number of your RBS?

I also have this issue on my RBS 2019 ordered on 12th August.
Like OP, it came pre-installed with BIOS 1.06 and the latest drivers in windows.
Not only does my webcam flicker constantly, but it is EXTREMELY poor quality, circa 1990's flip phones.
It's so bad, that I'm going to have to go buy a usb webcam just to have video meetings at work.

I've also encountered this issue. The only way to fix is to remove the charging cable, and the quality is terrible.
Purchased in August 2019.

Also did razer come up with a fix? also is there an explanation on why this is happening?

I was told to send my device for repairs, which would take over a week plus shipping. As I use this device for work, this is difficult.. Hoping anyone else has had more luck!

That's pretty much all we have for now. We're still exploring possible software fixes, but we haven't gotten far with that yet.
