Synapse 3 still beta. This is getting borring...

Hey guys

I'm dying here. A few years ago, i went out to buy a new gamning gear set, a keypad (orbweaver chroma), a keyboard (blackwidow chroma v2) and a mouse (Naga epic chroma). I bought all of them in the same brand, to unify configuration and sync lights and macros between the devices.

At first all were good, except that when i tried to download drivers for the mouse, i were directed towards synapse 3 beta, that had no drivers for that mouse at all. I found that strange at the time but thought, ah well the Synapse 2 found the mouse, and all worked well.

But then the driver update for the keyboard came, and forced me to install synapse 3 beta. And nothing worked together any more. Again i thought, ahh well synapse 3 is in full development so fortunately it won't be long before all 3 products are able to work together again.

That was in 2017!

What is going on? Why is Synapse 3 still beta? Why is all your products bought in stores 'legacy' and not included in synapse 3? Why are some of your products forced to use a beta software only? Why are your focus on new products only and practically don't care about your buying customers? Are you going bankrupt?

You have good hardware, but very bad software!

please get up to speed with your driver base to synapse 3 and get it out of beta, or stop forcing it on us!

Not really sure about keyboard mice Synapse but on Blade Synapse 3 yes it is still beta things get tons more interesting things than full fat Synapse 2 on old system, more performance mode, users customization fans, monitor refresh rate control, for some model back light logo control, cpu gpu tdp control, not mentioned keyboard lightning control, and other apps that is found on pheriperals Synapse. Sometimes it may be buggy but i find normal since Alienware Command Center, MSI dragon center (some users even removed this) are also buggy. Again I’m talking from system perspective, not quite sure on pheriperals department, and keep in mind when I’m not wrong gmail that we’re using now was even 5 years on beta phase so 2 or 3 years personally it’s normal.
Does that make it any less annoying or boring? Just because they used to fail even worse in the past, does not make this a success. It just means that they still have their priorities wrong and have missed the point completely: The best and simplest marketing strategy is to keep your customers happy, and they will recommend your products to everyone.

I will recommend Razer to no one, until it is fixed. just like many others...

Well all the successful software comes out in real time production only after undetermined timeframe of its beta version, which is normal.

And out of failure comes success, as long as the perseverance is there it doesnt matter how many times it fails. Its how the world goes. :smile_:

And about Synapse 3.0, if you observe bugs/glitches you can go ahead and report it to the razer support team so that they are aware and can get the code for the software fixed in the upcoming updates. Which i what i do.

Seeing bugs/glitches is purely normal in this digital age buddy.

I felt very much ignored by the support and believe they care more about closing tickets than being aware about customers problems.

You forgot to add ignorance here.
I dont understand this synapse 3 really vs synapse 2 it takes so much cpu and its so buggy, and even when u turn it off and then u look into task manager u can see like 3 programs from razer that still running WTF

Keep in mind, Gmail is a free Service nobody needs to use.
We are talking about hardware that we paid for and that is close to worthless without drivers.

I think that isn't compareable at all.

I have a Firefly, Blackwidow Chroma and Deathadder Elite with Hue lighting. I have random devices resetting to spectrum cycling every hour or so, as you fine people also seem to have. The Hue support dies regularly too.

Nice to read that a fix is coming soon (July 2019). :eek_:
