THX Game Mode doesn't work in CS:GO.

When I launch CS:GO I can change the THX Spatial Audio between stereo and surround sound perfectly but when I switch it to THX Environmental Mode or THX Competitive Mode nothing happens.

This is an issue I have been having every once in a while. Sometimes I've been able to fix it by restarting services, reinstalling drivers, doing a clean install of Synapse, and such things. Now I've spent over an hour and a half trying to fix it but to no avail.

Do any of you guys have any idea what to do? I'm completely lost.
