Uable to view screen on external monitor connected via HDMI port

    I was not able, so far, to duplicate/view the screen of my Razer Blade base edition (early 2020, RZ09-0328) on an external monitor connected via the HDMI port.
    I tried using both Kubuntu 20.04 and the preinstalled Windows 10 Home.
    The second screen is not detected, tried on two different monitors (a Benq PD2700Q and HP).
    It works fine with a USC-DisplayPort.
    What I'm missing? How to diagnose if it is a hardware problem?

    Have you tried replacing the HDMI cable or switching resolutions? If the problem persists, then there is a good chance that we're dealing with a faulty port. Do send me the serial number so I can point you in the right direction.
