Why are keyboard elitetists so against razer keyboards?

First of all, I'm not very brand loyal. I buy the best product in its category, and after the disaster of black widow, Huntsman is a great new alternative with very good out of the box mainstream optical switches.

When I was looking for a new keyboard, Leopold and a bunch of other brands popped up as a much better alternative to the Huntsman, however the prices are pretty much identical to the Huntsman, as many of them are either tkl or lacked media keys, etc etc.

The switches they all speed test use are either cherry or Khail switches, which to me feel worse than the bloody opto mechanical keys, and all have similar build with some not having an aluminum backplate. Mind you many of these keyboards are objectively uglier and have a much more outdated design.

So what's with the hate? I'm tired of everyone saying Huntsman is garbage because their custom lubed holy pandas sound better, but I'm not wasting my life lubing my switches or $800 on a custom keyboard just to type omegalul in twitch chat.

A lot of people feed this hate on Razer brand, but most did never own a single product. People are crazy.
13 razer product owner here. The quality has gone downhill. ESPECIALLY with keyboards. Months with no firmware updates to fix windows taskbar issues on x570 chipsets (they tried, but it didn't work) for both the blackwidow v3 and the huntsman mini. They haven't even acknowledged the blackwidow having the problem. Support threads about these issues being moved to off-topic despite developers in private recognizing the issue. You can check out the 15+ page threads about these issues that aren't resolved.

They keyboards otherwise are built ok, but you can get a daskeyboard for the same price and not have any of the errors that razer has with their ridiculous software bloat and firmware issues.
Let me explain. I am a lawyer and type all day long. My keyboard is my connection to reality. I have tried just about every brand of mechanical keyboard out there, and I have to say that the switches in the Razer Black Widow V3 Pro are about as close to perfect as I could imagine.

HOWEVER, I loathe this keyboard and Razer. Why? Because I am stuck with a light show. All I want is a nice light blue static light. Simple enough. Input the settings and save to device, end of story. But no. Apparently I cannot save settings to this very expensive keyboard. I have to run the Synapse program every time I start the computer.

And it just forced a new version down my throat, and I can no longer get my static color. No matter that I do, I get this f-ing cycle. So keyboard elitists hate Razer because it makes an extraordinary product and then dumbs it down for a bunch of kids who like pretty lights. Simple enough.
