Will the BIOS ever be unlocked again for Blade 2020 users?

So previously I had a Razer Blade 15 2019. Now I got a 2020er Blade with a 2070 Max-Q and 144Hz, but sadly the BIOS on this system is locked, and there is no way for me to undervolt the CPU. On my older Blade I could undervolt the CPU down to a -125v offset, which gave my Blade a nice 10-15% performance boost acording to 3DMark.

Can someone explain why Razer made the decision to take that feature away from us? I got a newer Blade with a newer CPU but its slower and hotter than my older Blade. It can't hold it's clock for long time. I mean who the freak needs a 5GHz turbo boost, when you can't use it? I locked my older Blade up to 4.3GHz and it was running just fine, even with its 240Hz screen.

There is the issue of the Plundervolt exploit but other manufacturers allow a level of undervolting (at least up to -80mv I think) I hope Razer can allow at least a controlled limit for undervolting. An additional 100Mhz all core boost with lower temps is already a lot of additional performance.
I really hope Razer will change this back to open for us user. I mean I bought a newer Blade with a faster CPU (which is approximately 10% faster), and my older Blade is still faster by 10%-15% and runs alot cooler because I could undervolt it. My newer Blade just runs too hot, and downclocks itself while gaming, which gave me a really big stutter sometimes in games and my environment temperature is about 22-24C.

In short I got a newer device which is slower than my old one.

Good job Razer!
