blackwidow v3 mini hyperspeed mushy switches?

Greetings to all! I come here today asking specifically about the blackwodow v3 mini hyperspeed keyboard with green clicky switches. The question pertains to the green clicky switches.

Now my question is: is it just me or are the green switches on these mini blackwidows rather mushy and quiet?

Compared to my nearly 2 year old blackwidow v3 pro which also has green clicky switches, the switches on the mini feel very mushy and are very quiet in comparison.

I put them side by side and there is a very audible difference in loudness and a very tactile difference in stiffness as well.

The switches feel more like the blue ones I have on a $25 wireless keyboard I have from a brand called keychron.

This issue has come up on 2 different blackwidow v3 mini keyboards that I have bought, both having green clicky switches.

Is this just a thing now? Is the quality of razer products diminishing now? Or is that much of the production of these mini keyboards really that bad?

Thank you for your time and I hope you all have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening/night!

BW Mini has foam inside, so it’ll dampen sound a bit (that’s why there’s sound difference vs BlackWidow V3 Pro, which doesn’t have any foam inside).

The switches are identical, so you should have similar using experience on both. There’s always some possibility, that switches may slightly varie due to different production batch.

All keys or specific ones?

If specific you can try pour few drops of 100% Isopropyl alcohol into the switch, press it few times and leave till it evaporate.
