I was expecting a fast scan rate being optical keys, it seems the effective scan rate is 50Hz with a 20ms key debounce. The 20ms matters, it means game movement lasts 20ms past me releasing the key. Most bog standard rubber dome keyboards are 125Hz / 8ms....
The tool I use is below, it works, other keyboards I have like the ducky one 2 hits 1000hz with a few keypresses

I'd check it on a standalone app (windows), not via web app with some JavaScript inside, where speed of script are mainly depends on the browser you use.
that app has proved 100% reliable, numerous other keyboards show low debounce times and high polling rates, ducky keyboards do, my Apex pro does and many other mech / opti keyboards I own do. I reckon it's the debounce time, which may be correct for typing but game mode should reduce that down to something much lower.
Real world results off my apex pro, no where near the 20ms compared to the razer mini, note the 1ms result, true 1000hz return / poll rate.
