It does not weigh like aluminum. And the aluminum plate has no magnetic force~

The K70 MK.2 with aluminum panels on my hand will be much lighter. Aluminum is relatively lighter than iron and steel, and iron or steel can absorb the magnet on the RAZER BLACKWIDOW ELIT's hand rest, but aluminum does not work. Can be ruled out that it is aluminum alloy material~

I’m not official staff but I’ve blackwidow X Te that has same “military grade” for 2 years and dropped it dozens times, compared to ornata or my iPad keyboard it’s thousands times “irons” feel. So to me it’s passed the requirement for that title, not testing it yet in the pool or bathroom to see if it stainless steel:smile_:, but the upper cassis has magnetic force since it can hold my iPad and its case, not the bottom and keys parts. Hope this give a clues to your “issue”.

Front panel is aluminium back panel is plastic and the magnet is under the plate.
