The switches fking wobble and the ping noise is fking huge, plus razer support sucks, everything else if perfect on this keyboard except the switch and sound. Gonna return it anyway

I've been asking for a 60% Razer keyboard for years! This is awesome news!
Any way to have the Fn key light the front of the keycap, so we can see what alternate Fn mapping we want to use? I'm not a touch typist, and can't see the labels with the lights down in the room.

Maximum performance made minimalist. Dominate on a different scale and go compact with the all-new Razer Huntsman Mini - our first 60% keyboard, designed for competitive players and streamlined setups. https://www.razer.com/gaming-keyboards/razer-huntsman-mini

✅Razer Optical Switches (Clicky or Linear)
✅Doubleshot PBT Keycaps
✅Onboard memory & lighting presets
✅Detachable USB-C braided fiber cable
✅Powered by Razer Chroma RGB

Will the switches on the Huntsman TE also be updated from Gen 1 to Gen 2 like the Huntsman Mini?

I've had the Huntsman TE for a couple weeks now, and while I love the overall design, I would say the one thing keeping it from perfection for me is just how damn loud the switches are. I've heard that on the Huntsman Mini with the Optical Linear Gen 2 switches they've addressed exactly that complaint with added softeners and lube, which sounds (no pun intended) amazing! Apparently 50% quieter on certain keys, which would seriously be ideal.

Does anyone know if the original Huntsman and Huntsman TE will be updated to the new Gen 2 switches? It would make my day if so.

That one of the biggest questions... and also if there will be a mini version for europe?
awesome keyboard. waiting for mine to arrive
Love the look of this, however, gaming without F keys can't be done. I would love a compact keyboard like this with F keys, but no arrow/home keys like the Blackwidow tournament edition I use now.
For the record the linear keys on this is the best keyboard made by Razer. I have two huntsman elites with the linear but the sound and audible click on the new keyboard significantly quieter.
I caved and ordered the mini - with my luck the new TE will come out shortly after :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

Me too, I've been waiting all my life or someone to gift me Razer products!
Wow! A phenomenal Opti-mechanical keyboard now in a compact form! This would be great for gamers and people who couldn't care less about a Numpad! And for people with compact space in their room! Kinda reminds me of the Blackwidow Lite, but obviously better in a lot of ways!

Does this have a normal keyboard layout? or do i need specialized keycaps

Now, obviously the normal keys, i.e. "QWERTY" etc. would not specifically require any different keycaps. After all, they're universal. However, I am worried about the ENTER key, and the other keys in the bottom row next to space. For those, you may need some specialised keycaps.

Hope this helps!

The Huntsman Mini has a standard bottom row, meaning that it can work with pretty well all common keysets for sale aftermarket.
I wish I could have this

Nice, it's small and lights up. I've been wanting a more compact keyboard with some cool extra features.
