windows 10 pro, 10700k, z490 aorus master and i have phantom/spamming keys. Also i have a problem with not working gaming mode after profile swapping. So i think this's not only AMD users problem. i had phantom/spamming keys problem on 2 razer v2 analog(only in games) and on the razer hunstman elite(everywhere). i choosed to try third keyboard after i rma my last rv2 analog and if i'll get same results i gonna use my old 7 years keyboard.
just sad.

I have already bought a fourth keyboard, the first was Huntsman Elite, the next 3 is a v2 analog. the last keyboard lost a defect - when switching profiles without using the internal memory, the keyboard began to work with delays of about half a minute after each profile switching.
phantom keys, not a working game mode (the Windows button is not blocked after changing profiles), all this is present on the new keyboard. this is complete rubbish that is not worth the money 4 out of 4 keyboards and they are all defective. I believed until the last that I could get a fully working keyboard, but apparently not destiny. do not buy this rubbish and do not waste your time on it.

Keep in touch, the store where i bought this keyboard sent its to the service center and from there it was returned with "no defective was found". Now all I have to do is sell this slag.

P.s. I have system based on i7-7700 and board gigabyte ga-z270xp-sli

So I picked this up in another thread here that again Razer ignores. I forgot who suggested it, but someone suggested static color or off seemed to be working for them.
Anyways, I WAS using the Wave RGB effect.
I've had static color set to white for a couple days now and haven't noticed any stuck keys while playing New World

Can some one else confirm if static color led or no led fixes their phantom keys?

Razer - This may be what to look into fixing within Synapse. You can send us a partial refund for QAing your products and software.

Edit: Got my first phantom key about 3 minutes after posting this. This wasn't the fix. But it does seem to have greatly reduced the frequency of the issue.


I already use a static colour, red and as you’ve found still experience this issue. Although for me it’s very rare, maybe once in several hours of gaming. An additional press of the button for whichever direction it is that’s ghosting clears it.

As it’s so intermittent and so far in between I’ve never been able to properly test with and without Synapse.

and whilst I think of it. I see Razer have released a new version of this keyboard the Huntsman V2 with Gen2 optical keys, 8000Hz polling, no USB pass through and no edge RGB. I wonder if this new version experiences any issues with the keys ghosting?

I am looking at this thread and I see tons of posts with unhappy people regarding the "sticky keys" issue. Yet when I posted a potential fix and asked you all to test it, there is no answer, for more than 7 days in a row.

I dont have the keyboard anymore, but as i said its a problem related to synapse 3.

Yea, I'm not intentionally installing a random exe and registry flags to turn on a keylogger - officially from Razer or not.

That said, Synapse 3.6.1010.101113 is seeming fairly promising.

I have been using this version for the last couple of days. I have not had the ghost key issue at all since updating.
I used to have it 3-8 times per hour but been fine with about 4 hours of testing.

Seems like this one (and later) may have done the trick. 3.6.1018.101823 and I haven't had a single instance of the repeating key issue in days.

I guess you gotta give credit where credit's due, I should put my Huntsman V2 back on my desk. Congrats, Razer, some of my faith is restored -- but you did take too damn long for this one, but I'm inclined to believe that it was a difficult problem to tackle.

Hello sorry im new, im not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but i have the huntsman v2 analog and the only one in the store was in spanish, i want to change the keycaps to english ones. is it posible? i notice that the enter is different. please help

Can the USB cable be removed? Not concerned with wireless... Just want to be able to switch boards at will...

Muy buenas muchachada!! Os cuento, hace un año aprox pillamos por Amazon este teclado y la verdad es que sus acabados, configuraciones, materiales , tacto , el software que incorpora etc...etc...es una maravilla.
Mi problema es con algunos juegos (no todos) el PC lo detecta como mando principal y no hay cojones a que pille el que tengo de xbox One de primeros. O desconectó el teclao y lo vuelvo a poner o me toca jugar con el.
He mirado por todos lados, windows, El propio software del Razer y no consigo dar con la tecla.
Si alguien sabe por donde pueden ir los tiros o como solucionarlo soy todo oidos!!!

Hola, te entiendo completamente y la solución es entrar al device manager, y buscar xbox 360 controller. Que así es como esa parte del software detecta el movimiento analógico del teclado. Cuando quieras jugar con mando y no funcione, solo desactiva ese device, aveces necesita in reboot. Y ya podrás usar el mando pero tus teclas ya no serán analógicas.

this is not a hardware error its you guys error

but you guys cant make it work becuase the laser analog switches are not reliable in my opinion

because of the key wobble

and if the keybaord has hardware problems

befcause when i dual activate this alt+q at point 1 then w at point 2 it still has the alt+q key being pressed so when point 2 activates its also activatin as alt+q+w
