I guess the problem is in the interaction between synapse and the xbox controller driver. In synapse, except for defining and configuring the keyboard as a gamepad and setting the backlight, there is nothing that is not stored in the memory of the keyboard itself (I checked only synapse and basic drivers on a clean installation).
It remains to wait until Razer understands how to properly configure the interaction with the driver and wean the keyboard to mimic as an xbox controller, instead of analog keyboard input

I just tested it on 3 different PC's (1 with a clean Windows 10 install), with both an old and a brand new Razer account (some people said that would solve it on other Razer products with this issue). The same thing happens in every situation.

At this point I do not believe there's a single Huntsman V2 running with Windows 10 and Synapse that doesn't have this issue.

The only "solution" I know of would be to disable Synapse, which isn't an option for me as some of my favourite games will detect the keyboard as a controller, making it comepletely useless (yes useless, keys not working at all). Right now, this keyboard is great (the best I've ever used) for typing/work, but any gamer should stay far away from it.

I saw another thread of someone complaining about this and Razer support asked the customer to blow dust out of their keys. Ridiculous.

I'm just going to return this third keyboard aswell and go to another brand until Razer solves this garbage.

It drives me mad, the fact that they pretend like the problem isn't even there. This radio silence.

Also @ReedTiger does windows 10 have that driver installed by default? (I don't have an xbox controller)
In Windows 10, the xbox controller driver is preinstalled, but most likely the problem is in the driver that is installed from synapse. You can check it, go to the controller settings from synapse and you will see the Razer device there. Perhaps there will be 2 of them, like mine. One razer xbox and another Razer analog, both in x-input mode.
Hola yo tengo el mismo problema que ustedes, no se sabe para cuando una solucion?

Had my v2 for around a week and for the first time I've had the phantom key issue whilst playing an extended run on BL3, new to me, never had this issue with my BlackWidow. I'm not even using the wrist rest which some say stops the issue.

Seeing as people are reporting this as a software issue I'm not going to go the route of getting the keyboard replaced for the time being I'm just going to disable Synapse and see what happens. I might still raise a support case just to log the problem.

Yes, disabling Synapse will basically reduce your super advanced keyboard to a £50 keyboard that you can buy from Corsair or any other decent producer... So, it is totally worth the 5x price o_O.
The silent attitude of Razer over this issue is simply insulting, considering the price of the keyboard and the importance of the software integration in the Analog features. Basically the most advertised features of the Analog Keyboard are provided by the software. With the software disabled, that advantage gets cancelled.

Yes, this is absolutely infuriating. Unfortunately, we can only wait and hope for an early solution the problem from Razer programmers

So, um, dude, any chance we could have any update on this? Your flagship keyboard is still broken.
AStaUK
I'm not saying it's fixed but so far so good, will keep an eye open and see if the issue raise's it's head at somepoint.

*no issues today after an hour or two of D2/Borderlands.

Definitely still an issue for me. I deeply regret this purchase.
Like many others, I'm just tired of putting up with the problem. I took the keyboard to the warranty department of the store where I purchase it, now I'm just humbly waiting for a decision. If will no return, I will sell this piece of misunderstanding.
This keyboard was complete garabage and I'll NEVER buy another Razer keyboard. The lack of even acknowledging the issue, let alone saying "hey, we're working on it" is beyond infuriating for a $250 product.

I had returned a roccat mouse and keyboard and bought the razer for a total of -$29. Because it's a refunded situation, it doesn't look like i can dispute anything. Best Buy's return window was 2 weeks. I THOUGHT I had noticed it a couple of times in that two week window or didn't think much of it. Maybe I wasn't gaming much during that period?

Anyways the frequency of the sticky keys became much more apparent rather quickly.

I contacted Razer Support via Twitter, they were unaware of the sticky keys issue, and then I was eventually ignored after providing a video of the issue that I telling them it wasn't my video, but same issue. The sticky keys happened often, but was near impossible to game and film at the same time.

Of course closing Synapse fixes the sticky keys, but I could have accomplished the lack of features with a random $80 mechanical keyboard. You NEED Synapse to take advantage of ANYTHING advertised with this keyboard. It's a software issue!!!

Anyways, I picked up a Corsair K100 and it's been great.

I can't sell it off, because it's defective. A return would be forced on me by ebay. And I can't in good faith attempt to trick someone into buying it.

Hopefully someone at Razer see's these and finally does something about it. But I'm extremely disappointed.
Another razer synapse update today, anyone that still have the keyboard can reply to tell if they did fix it or not?
I might pull mine out of the closet tonight and see.

For all Insiders, who are having issues with HM V2 Analog

Test your Huntsman V2 and Synapse on a different Windows 10 PC.
A device that is fresh built, with no Virus or Malwares and has the latest Windows 10 updates and dotnet framework

A friend of mine who had similar issue with HM V2, a fresh installation of Windows 10 and Synapse has resolved his issue on the keyboard.

Which confirm that his original Windows 10 OS source files was damaged (via Virus / attack); poor keyboard interactivity due to poor interface between OS and Synapse.

Also test the keyboard by connecting to its individual USB port, not a multi USB hub adapter

Sure just build a brand new computer to test a keyboard.
wtf???

I did mention, "different Windows 10 PC"

Please constrain from using short Intentional Misspellings. "wtf"
As per RAZER house rules~~
Then followed it up with "fresh built".

I did not say "build a pc".
After confirming a test on a different PC (used or fresh), then we can see where to go from there.
Windows update had an HID device driver for Razer today as well. Going through Device Manager and looking at Driver dates for my Razer products. It doesn't look like anything was actually updated tho.
V2 Analog keeb in particular still shows driver date of 3/30/2021.

Of note, the phantom/stuck keys seems even worse than last time I tried this keyboard. DEFINITELY NOT FIXED.
Will toss it back in the closet because this shit is useless.

Also, to add, when I bought this keyboard I had a AMD Ryzen 9 3950X and a Gigabyte X570 Auros Master. I have since swapped to a 5950x and Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. So no, a "fresh" built pc does not fix the issue.
Because... IT'S SYNAPSE!!!
Well, been many months and they dont show minimun interest into this.

I will never recommend any razer products to anyone that i know.
So I picked this up in another thread here that again Razer ignores. I forgot who suggested it, but someone suggested static color or off seemed to be working for them.
Anyways, I WAS using the Wave RGB effect.
I've had static color set to white for a couple days now and haven't noticed any stuck keys while playing New World

Can some one else confirm if static color led or no led fixes their phantom keys?

Razer - This may be what to look into fixing within Synapse. You can send us a partial refund for QAing your products and software.

Edit: Got my first phantom key about 3 minutes after posting this. This wasn't the fix. But it does seem to have greatly reduced the frequency of the issue.

You have mentioned on this post, your pc uses AMD architecture.

In the following thread~~~
/huntsman-mini-broke-my-windows.65606/page-18

We see many Insiders having issues with Huntsman Mini, those their PC utilize AMD system.

I was able to test my HM Elite on an AMD (FM2) socket architecture, it crashed my Windows 10 system, but when running on an Intel system, it works fine. My friend runs on Intel i7-7700K, which show no issues when using HM V2 Analog.

I spoke to one of the ELITES who confirms an issue with AMD architecture against RAZER peripherals.

Something which the AMD developers must look into upgrading their BIOS configuration. I do recall, my AMD PC ran fine with RAZER products before upgrading to Windows 10.

I'm no CPU / motherboard expert.

Somethings I know is, Intel and AMD sure are in serious competition regarding clock speed, number of cores and threads; but what many people don't take to an account is, how the data processing protocol within its architecture work.

The reason why I chose Intel over AMD, is its architecture support wider applications and hardware. The more resource it supports, the more flexibility it delivers in terms of how the data gets processed.

Lesson I have learnt on my first and last AMD architect PC.

The protocol of how the data processing works~~~~ ?????
Intel and AMD secret~~~

I suspect this is why some Insiders and many RAZER users are having issues when using RAZER peripherals on AMD.
