Kind of wished you guys would have Cherry MX like stems so we can have custom keycaps. But I think the Mecha-Membrane switch would need massive rework for that to work.

That digital wheel looks exactly like the mousewheel on my Lancehead T.E. If its as good this is a good improvement over v1.

Just great, my wife's Ornata just died few weeks ago, please add it to the silver program.

all of my razer products are tough

I wish I could say the same about our ornata. the wife just retired hers and we replaced her work keyboard with a huntsman

One of my favorite parts about Razer product releases are the featured videos.
The editing in them is just out of this world!
You need to give the guy/girl doing them a big fat raise!
Here is another fact. The keyboard is gorgeous af!

I'm too much in love with the Huntsman Elite though.
I can't just leave her for the first pretty girl I see.

Wow, the cable routing option is really cool, and totally useful imo.

My V1 ornata is 2 years old and very very fanctional as brand new.I highly recommend V2 if you are about to get a new one of course.Beware that this is a heavy keyboard. It feels like being build with massive materials.I suspect its gonna be the same way with a few fanctions added and keys.About the keys are the half height sized (not very tall neither flat),perfect for my taste.V2 might be my next keyboard unless a Cynosa V2 comes out since it was the next in line.
Me too I still have the original ornata but I'll be looking forward for this one.

It looks sweet.

Nice! Have had my Ornata Chroma for several years now and it has held up great. Glad to hear that the keyboard gets a refresh 😉.

Hello friends

I use a Razer Ornata chroma keyboard.
The new V2 version looks really good.

The big advantage of this keyboard, it remains relatively silent and its magnetic wrist rest is really comfortable.

But if I were to buy a new keyboard, I think I would test the new optical switch on the Razer Huntsman Quartz edition.

How do you control the backlite and other functions? I can control the brightness but can't choose color or theme. The wheel only does volume and I can't bind it to something else.

You'll need to get the Razer Synapse software and configure it through that: https://www.razer.com/synapse-3

I really like some new keyboard introduce, I would like to have something like Logitech G913 shorter keys keyboard. The Ornata series is cool by the Chroma, type feel etc, But the reaction time is longer than the last version, Huntsman version.

It feels to me like they keep modifying the existing models, i'm curious to see a new one in place.
The ornata is my top recommendation for a comfortable typing experience for both productivity and gaming. I fell in love the first moment I got to try one at PAX and it's been my daily driver since it arrived in the mail afterwards.

If you're not a fan of massive travel or clunky keys these are the best clickiest bois around.

That said my keyboard has had the S key lose its click after several years of use, alongside the wear. I'm satisfied given how much I've used it though so I'll be getting this shortly...
