Hello everyone, for those who have this issue, I do hope this helps some. Here are some links for what I am posting about.

Heres how I believe I "fixed" my Ornata V2 I guess you can say. No I did not take anything apart or sprayed it with any liquid or cleaner.
Anyways, in one of the posts, someone mentions that theres some sort or gunk or something on the mechanism, and keeping it from raising and lowering your volume properly. What I did was when my computer was off, I would spin the dial fast up several times, then down several times (like youre scrolling on a phone or tablet), then up and down, almost like youre playing Fruit Ninja (best way I can describe lol).
I dont know what I must have done, but it loosened something, because my volume works great now. No skipping, no volume going down while I try to raise it, doesnt skip 4-7 volume clicks, etc.
I did this for a few nights in a row, I am on day 4 now and wanted to let you all know after some testing before posting.
Anyways, I know some dials are different, but in theory, it could work right?
Thanks and be safe out there, Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it tomorrow.

Great fix! I'll try to make this post easier to see for all those people who suffer this problem! Thank you and enjoy the holidays
Ok this is a great fix. Worked for me as well !
OMG OMG OMG AFTER 2 YEARS!!! Thanks a lot for the fix!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't believe it, I'm laughing my a** off
Confirmed worked for me too. Thanks m8
This is genius! I had this issue for years and could never find a good fix. This is closest to solving the annoying problem. Thank you, kind stranger, for sharing this ingenious solution!
OMFG Works for me, like fruit ninja
Holy smokes worked for my Blackwidow Elite too, fruit ninja for the win!!!
Seriously doubted this fix... but wow, it actually did the job! I was super aggressive with mine (Ornate V2), pushing, wiggling while I scrolled it. Didn't even turn off my PC to do it either. It's not perfect yet, but definitely a huge improvement.
Interesting enough, if I spin it up/down super fast in succession, Windows actually can't keep up and you'll see the volume go up/down for a few seconds after I stop moving it. To me, this indicates also there exists some signal processing issues on the software side too, probably windows itself frankly, but I got better things to do now that my volume works again!
Thanks so much, this was super annoying!

Just came to search for the same problem and saw this post.
I have exactly the same issue. I got the keyboard and installed it and saw this issue.
The volume does not work when Synapse is on. Pause, Next Track etc work.
I checked if I remapped it and that was not the case.
I've reinstalled the drivers numerous time. What I saw is that when I "repair" the installation, the volume control works and then when I restart my PC I have again the same issue.
Any help would be omegle appreciated.

I did everything the FAQ says, but I still can't get it to work. I just got them today. They were effective once. You charge them, and then they stop working. There is no light. There is no audio pairing, nothing!
