If you spilled a water, and they keyboard was powered on (running) it could make some short-circuit causing improper work of keyboard or it's LEDs.
The one thing that you can make is to disassemble your keyboard, and clean PCB (keyboard motherboard) with isopropyl alcohol (IPA).

To disassemble Huntsman Elite - you'll need to take off all keycaps (with a key puller, if you don't have any, you can make a DIY keycap puller from paperclip - there are some videos on YT). Be sure that you're pulling keycaps STRAIGHT UP, otherwise, you can damage mechanical key stem.
There are few screws on the front facing plate, and there are 2 additional screws on the back of the keyboard under upper anti-slip rubber pads.
Then if you have your keyboard fully dissasembled you can clean waterspots with brush + Isopropyl alcohol (which is 100% safe for electronic devices).
