Hi! So i have the Razer Blackwidow Chroma v2, and i love it. But The new optical mechanical switches on the Razer Huntsman apepal to me, so my question is, do you think that it's worth the upgrade? Or would you recommend it at all?

I have the same keyboard as yours, and i got myself a voucher for the Huntsman Elite that i so impatiently waiting to send. In any case, i don't really need to change my BW V2 but my reasons are that Hunstman Elite is pretty new in terms of release, i'm curious about those new purple switches and hell, the wristrest has chroma all over for it. So, more chroma == more joy.
I had Blackwidow V2 until the last week when I got Huntsman Elite.
I loved Blackwidow V2: it's a great keyboard - the best until then. But then I got Huntsman Elite, and I think I got myself a new keyboard champion. :smile_:
In fact, when comparing those two keyboards, you need to now differences (which I noticed):
Probably there are more differences than those I just mentioned, but this is something you can notice in few days usage.
If you are happy with Blackwidow v2, and you don't have some spare money - keep it. Otherwise, go with the Huntsman Elite. :big_grin_:

In fact, when comparing those two keyboards, you need to now differences (which I noticed):
- Huntsman has media keys, while Blackwidow has macro keys
- Huntsman has somewhat "lower" keys - I have this filling when typing on keyboard that the travel distance of my fingers is a bit smaller than on Blackwidow's keys
- Huntsman's writrest isn't that soft like Blackwidow's - I even like it a bit harder
- Huntsman has underglow
- Don't know how to explain this, but Huntsman has "open" keys - they are not close with plastic around the keyboard. I believe this makes this keyboard much easier to clean.
- Huntsman doesn't have audio input (nor USB)

I not know the hardware but soft made It inusuable
I can ysay you this huntsman elite becose of opto-mechanical switch is faster then normal mechanical switch becose dont use mechanical part to send signal as anyone know light is fater next thing is rgb you have all around on keybord so it give nice lightning effect on desk also multimedia keys but only in elite on normal version there not present. Switch is click version no silent switch is avalible at this moment. I use it for few months and i love it but this are my thouts. The best way for will go to store and cheack it arrow keys are not cover in box so you will get feel of it and you make your mind if you want to switch.
I got my Huntsman with a voucher and it arrived 3 days ago. I haven't managed to enjoy it as much i as i would like cause of work but i can tell you it feels great, it's a bit noisy but its the first keyboard i get for good money so i can't compare properly but it feels really good

Well, most of the silvers i got from Mogul, that's kinda the best way to farm silvers if you're good at voting. But there are other ways of doing it like charging zgold, or using SoftMiner and some fun achievements here on Insider too.
I have one I use for work and I love it
Huntsman Elite is my first mechanical keyboard in a looooong time (been using ergo/chicklet style rigs). I mean what the heck was I even thinking?!?! Love this board! Switches, while loud, are lightning fast and so satisfying to type on. The chroma effects are great. I've not experienced the software issues that seem rampant - just the lack of support for older devices that bums me out. As to whether it's worth it to upgrade, IDK - seems more of an incremental update in your case and I'm not sure that justifies the price tag...
I love mine!!!!!!!!
