This one should do the work just fine.
Bought mine 2 days ago and I'm already have a slew of problems: The wireless dongle is hit or miss half of the time it doesn't register, the drivers on my windows 11 PC refuses to download and since it won't download synapse can't pick up the device rendering any customizable features worthless.

It works on my laptop but not my PC. It originally worked on my PC, however, after following their tutorial and uninstalling the drivers to reacquire them my PC refuses to reacquire the mouse driver making this effectively worthless. I was so happy to finally upgrade my heavily used basilisk ultimate too only to find it doesn't make use of the charging dock at all but have to order a brand new one.

I've spent the last 3 hours trying to make my mouse work with my PC again but there's no way to even get my PC to register that its even hooked up. sigh.

hahah, feel the same
I picked up one of these as I really liked the wireless charging and auto locationg feature on the mouse dock pro that was also released. I read that the mouse might be heavy and not comfortable to use all day, but I can tell you that I work from home a couple days a week and use the mouse for 8-10 hours at a time on thise days. I do not notice the weight to be an issue at all. The mouse is a great size for me. Most gloves that I wear are medium or large depending on the brand. I really like the fact that when AI am done for the week I can just snap this thing to the mouse dock pro and know that I will have a fresh battery the next week when I get to my desk.

Having a Basilisk V3, the Pro version looks like a modest upgrade. Wireless mice today are definitely good enough to replace wired ones without sacrificing performance, and having a charging dock designed for the mouse like that, similar to the Basilisk Ultimate, is super enticing for a wireless mouse. The 30K DPI is pretty niche in terms of usability; the V3 only has 26K, and I never exceed 4k for any and all applications, especially since I'm not much of an e-sports or competitive gamer. I know the $160 price tag comes from the advanced software and hardware included, especially the 90-hour battery life and button versatility, as well as Qi compatibility when paired with the charging dock and puck (and, of course, the Razer tax, but that's how it be sometimes).

Overall, if you were serious about your gaming peripherals, and you're willing to spend more money on something more comfortable for your playstyle, with the versatility to match it, the V3 Pro seems like a solid option.

Is it worth getting?

Short answer, if you have the funds to get one, are serious about the quality of mouse you use, and are okay with its flaws (primarily being weight and, to a lesser extent, wireless latency), then I would say it's worth getting.

Long answer, it really depends on just how hardcore you are about competitive gaming (and/or if you have the funds to burn on it). Truthfully, no one needs 30K DPI, and personally, I'll always side with wired mice over wireless, not just because of connectivity, but also for the weight difference. That might not matter to you as much, though, so if the weight doesn't bother you, Razer's wireless latency has gotten far better as their technology has advanced, so realistically, that wouldn't be that much of a problem. If you want to push the most accuracy out of your mouse, and the DPI really matters to you, then yes, I would say it's a worthy purchase, especially because it would also give you some quality of life perks like wireless charging and a 90-hour battery. If the weight does matter to you, or if you want to shave off a little performance to save money, the wired V3 is about half the price, and it's functionally similar (plus, you could get a mouse bungie for the wire and still spend less than you would on a V3 Pro). Essentially, that means the V3 Pro is a die-hard competitive gamer's mouse, so if you're more of a casual gamer that just likes Razer's brand (like me), I would recommend the V3 over the V3 Pro.
