Hello,

Why this mouse clicks itself and switching scroll wheel mode iteslf every time when my computer power on or off ?

Razer fix this in firmware if possible.

This should not touch wheel switch when power on or off. This will damage mechanism soon I quess.

I’d test this mouse on another PC without synapse installed to test is it some hardware issue with the mouse itself or a problem on your PC (maybe some 3rd party app can cause this).

I read and all people have this clicking wheel clutch switch click when mouse power on, power off.  This mouse have electronic switcher for wheel mode.   Maybe your computer do not power off USB when computer is off, this is only possible. Widze ze jestes z Polski :)

Razer must fix this issue in firmware, because this switching mode iteslf when USB power off power on is wears scroll wheel clutch mechanism.

“Is it normal for this mouse to make clicking noises when the computer boots up? It clicks as if I were toggling the scroll mode, but I'm not touching the mouse.”

  • Yes, it's normal for the mouse to click when booting your PC. The click you hear is the scroll wheel lock activating when the mouse receives power, so nothing to be concerned about! I had the same question before I realized what it is.

But Razer should make new firmware to elminate this!  Why this happen, what mouse do is nonsense.
