What is the purpose of the included dongle? If I don’t plug in the receiver and connect directly, will it still reach the full 1K polling rate?

So I was asking if I only plug in the receiver to my PC without plugging it through the dongle, will it reach 1k polling rate. If it do what’s the purpose of dongle.
Wow, that was poorly asked question then (1st post).
In package you have 2.4GHz Hyperspeed dongle and extender.
What is extender purpose? To extend xD So you can put your dongle as near to the mouse as possible, and avoid any interferention from other devices.
+1The purpose is - wireless.
Without it you can only use your mouse wired.
The hyperspeed version of Death Adder V3 has a dongle with a type A receiver plugged in bro. So the receiver only is enough to connect wireless without the dongle.
