Hi,
I've encountered pretty much the same situation as @Chestnutevergarden140 where my scrolling wheel gets jumpy 50% of the time when I scroll on a page. Is there any other ways to fix this other than dissembling and cleaning it?
It's kind of sad that I've only been using the mouse for 3 years. I usually expect a mouse like this can last at least 5 years.

I have the same problem with my deathadder essential I've only had it since last september.
You can try air can and "clean" it without disassembly.
But if the encoder is really dirty it'll require mouse disassembly to fully clean it.
Sometimes it's faulty encoder, so only scroll encoder change will help.

Yeh... I tried the air can, still no luck . I guess I'll have to go with the disassembly route...
