Hello friends,
My first mouse was a Razer DeathAdder Black, I have fond memories of it.
It's nice to see the creation of a version 2.
Now I'm using a Razer Lancehead Quartz Tournement edition, it's great and I love the color. ^_^

Yesterday I had the opportunity to play with the old version and the new one after a few hours thanks to my friends, I definitely notice the difference between them "old < new", but definitely the new one wins for me in every aspect, I liked the scroll the most because I use it most often in games after I've modified it.

The scroll definetly feels premium.
I use a lot of the Adder mice but in my gamer I switched to the Mamba Elite. Love both but the Mamba seems to have (for me) a better fluid motion.

What I think Razer needs to do with the DA V2 is the same they are doing with the Viper series so far.
I like it that on the left side it has a place to put in my thumb and a good ergonomic for my hole hand. This was one reason to buy it. With wireless i think it will be so expensive like the Viper Ultimate. This was to much for me for a mouse.
Great mouse, shame Razer force you to run their software to enable your colour settings EVEN THOUGH IT HAS A PROFILE SWITCH UNDERNEATH ?!. Saves everything but colour DOH, hence defaults to colour cycling without their software running grrrr. Certainly needs a firmware update (it's had one already but no idea what that added/fixed).
I wonder why there is no 250hz polling rate option for Razer mouse, I just got DA V2 and used to owned a Steelseries Rival 700 that has 4 polling rate frequencies 125, 250, 500, 1000. Razer's mouse got only three 125, 500, 1000, is that hardware limitation or just software. Really wish Razer could implented 250Hz option, I play some android emulator game too, and lower polling rate below 500Hz work better with those emulator.

Had two Razer's mouse in the past the DA 2013 and DA Chroma, both got three polling rate option too.

I've never understood why you'd want a longer response time, or even why you'd need it at such a specific frequency o_O

In games that only support low polling rate, lower mouse polling rate can eliminate many mouse desync problem. Some old PC game even has problem with high polling rate mouse like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Call of Duty Ghosts they are all poor ported game that bring the exact polling rate from controller on console.

I think it would be quite hard to make.
And even would it be done, i'm afraid that so much "enlighted" surface would be wuite "hot" to put your hands on.

I'm not sure it would be "hard" to make... clear or semi transparent plastic instead of black shouldn't be too difficult for a team of engineers. Adding more LEDs would make it brighter, but probably not warmer to touch. It would almost definitely be more expensive and would need enough people interested to make it worthwhile.

Really an amazing mouse I just recently bought it. It's very comfortable to use
Is there any way to disable the spectrum cycling when not in Windows? I don't understand at all why things went backwards from Synapse 2, where settings were stored on the mouse, to Synapse 3, where the mouse still saves profiles, but they only work in Windows.

It's rather annoying to set a muted solid color, only to have slight movement when the computer is off that sets off spectrum cycling all freaking night.

I bought this mouse to replace a Mamba Tournament Edition that had the adhesive fail on the grips. Regretting this decision at the moment.
Ordered mine yesterday and cant wait to get it. My old Deathadder V1 started to disconnect while iam using it and it really annoys me to always plug the cable out and in.
AH man, my Wishlist Razer item! Cannot wait to hopefully be trying it out in the near future, the amount of comparisons and reviews I've watched and read on this!
