Questionable quality of the Razer Basilisk

Before anyone calls me a troll, I've been using Razer mice since the Diamondback, back in the early 2000s.
From there I had various iterations of the Deathadder..... from the original, then the Elite, Essential. Then the Basilisk, the V2, the Ultimate, and the V3.

I've had a crap ton of issues with the Basilisk. I've had to basically RMA the V1, V2 and V3, sometimes more than once. It's always tracking issues or clicking / button issues. All these mice have gone through regular use. I've not abused any of them.

But the latest issue with the Scroll Toggle Button on an RMA'ed V3 (yes, it was replaced only a month ago) has seriously tempted me to simply just take a hammer.... smash the mouse to pieces, and just go use another brand. The Logitech G502x comes to mind. Maybe the Glorious Model I .... since I love the shape.

I'm at my wits end having to RMA every mouse I've recently purchased from Razer, sometimes more than once, for what I perceive to be build quality issues. And then Razer will always ask me to send the mouse back to them, take a week to do god knows what, before sending a replacement to me. In the meantime, I have to make do with another temporary mouse that is sub optimal for my gaming purposes.

Seriously, Razer. Do something about your QC maybe?
Your mouse switches do not seem to live up to their lifetime claims.
I'm on the verge of simply giving up on the brand permanently.
