Razer Deathadder V2 Pro dead

I’ve had this mouse (Deathadder V2 Pro) for a couple of years, and I’ve never encountered any problems whatsoever—I absolutely loved the product.

However, recently, I’ve been experiencing some wireless connectivity issues with my PC. Whether using the USB dongle or Bluetooth, the mouse sometimes randomly connects and disconnects in a loop. On the other hand, the wired connection has always worked flawlessly.

Until yesterday, the mouse was functioning perfectly. But last night, after leaving it on, I found that it wasn’t showing any signs of life this morning.

I attempted to connect it via cable to multiple USB ports on different computers, using various cables, but it remained unresponsive. Neither the Bluetooth nor the USB options on the mouse wake it up, and it won’t connect to any of my devices. It’s completely silent—quite a contrast from how well it worked just the day before.

I’m at a loss trying to understand the issue. While I suspect it might be software-related, I can’t even access the mouse’s firmware because it isn’t recognized by the computer when connected—it’s as if I’ve plugged in an empty USB cable.

Is it time to bid farewell to my trusty companion? It’s a shame, considering I haven’t had it for very long. Interestingly, my DeathAdder Elite, which is twice as old, is still working perfectly. I’d really like to find a way to repair it somehow.

Thanks for your consideration.

I had an issue exactly like this. All I did was replace the battery and it came to life. It was not to difficult but it took some work. Hope this helps.

Please tell me where to get  a battery.   I have been unable to locate one online or locally.

Local battery shop has never seen one like this.

You need 3.7V LiPo 470mAh 3-pin battery. There are some 3rd party on aliexpress for eg. but I cannot tell nothing about their quality [LINK]
