Razer Naga Epic Chroma & Firefly v2 tracking issues

Hi there, I have had the Razer Naga Epic Chroma for a few years and I've just bought the Firefly v2 mat to pair with it going from the soft mat surface to the hard mat surface. Unfortunately there seems to be tracking issues and the movement isn't smooth and actually works far better just on my desk surface. The synapse 2.0 software does not have the calibration tab for the mouse and I have tried holding the left, right and wheel buttons together for 7 seconds in an attempt to recalibrate it but this has been unsuccessful. Does anyone know if there is there anything else I can do here to sort out the tracking issue? Or if the devices are not compatible the only other scenario is to return the mat in exchange for another soft one again. Thanks in advance for any help answering this issue.
