Razer Synapse won't install on iMac OSX Mojave 10.14.6

Synapse was working fine until a couple days ago when it kept freezing. The icon in the menu bar kept pinwheeling. I uninstalled Synapse and when I tried to re-install (v1.87) it keeps giving me errors and won’t install.

 

I’ve restarted my system and zapped PRAM and SMC but nothing has helped. My Razer Naga Chroma is now pretty much useless. It’s a total bummer that Razer barely supports Macs.

 

Can someone please help me get this re-installed? I’ve searched these forums and online and tried doing everything that I’ve found in those forums to no avail.

So I got it to finally install. I found a thread that said to revert my computer’s clock to before 2018 to install. Ridiculous that this is nowhere listed in this forum; or that you even have to do that.

 

I am still having an issue where Synapse does not stay online. The yellow dot stays yellow. And the Synapse icon in the menu bar constantly pinwheels. Every few minutes it forces Synapse to become active thereby becoming the main window and interrupting whatever I am doing. I love the Naga Chroma mouse but it’s time to move on.

 

tl;dr - If you have an Apple computer, STAY AWAY FROM RAZER.
