With the recent launch of the Acari, many of us internally here at Razer had a good go around about which mat surface is better; hard or soft? I'm still waiting on my Acari to come in, but I'm super excited for it. I prefer hard mats because I suffer from lazy arm which often leads to slow reactions or under-aiming and having a hard mat helps due to its less friction-y surface.
Which side are you on and why do you prefer the surface that you do?

I LIKE THE SOFT PADS, THEY END UP BEING WAY MORE CONFORTABLE ON MY HANDS, WRISTS, ARMS, AND SHOULDERS!!!
I currently use a hard Firefly Chroma that I have had for years now, however I do not like the Firefly with some certain mice (Apple Magic Mouse etc.). For those, I find a soft mat to be better (Which is why I have a backup goliathus;).)
