If you want to have on-board memory with your profiles mamba elite is device to go but if you dont care about this take older one.
Please take the elite no point spending less but give lots of issue in the long run.

what kind of long run issues?
The choice is entirely yours, but it could always fluctuate depending on what do you want to use your mouse on? Like what type of games, because there are mices that have advantages for most types of games.
I would go Mamba Elite over the Mamba TE, unless you want a laser sensor more. My Mamba TE has had some issues in the past with the sensor randomly freezing in the middle of something.
The Mamba Elite is more or less the exact same mouse with a couple different textures on the rubber side grip bits and scroll wheel, and it has a better optical sensor that other mice like the Deathadder Elite use. It also has Razer Mechanical Mouse switches, that likely have a better lifespan then the normal switches on the older Mamba TE.
So, IMO if you want a laser sensor go get the Mamba TE, but overall the Mamba Elite is better for around the same price as its predecessor.

I have a palm grip and big hands. i just want a smooth mouse, aesthetically pleasing and works buttery smooth when playing games. I am not a competitive gamer. I just enjoy playing the triple A titles with ease

Please clarify on the issue of "it can't be used properly" is the product the bottleneck or the synapse? because i have a razer keyboard and it's been nothing but good to me
I personally love the Naga. I like having the extra buttons on the mouse that way my left hand doesn't have to leave the WASD keys while playing. I am a big fan of Warframe and using the mouse for ability casting, weapon swap, etc. My left hand is then strictly maneuverability. Same for other games such as Battlefield or Insurgency. I can strafe and lean and not worry about not being able to move a direction while performing another task.
synapse 3 not can créate a simply toggle key, can´t made macros using mice button, not start with Windows boot…. and much more, read synapse 3.0 section and you will you happy customers returning razer products changing with corsair and Logitech, as i´, mading me next week
