Chroma Keyboard for Android - it's finally happening!

It's been a while since I've worked on anything "Chroma", but in the last few weeks there has been an explosion of interest in the Chroma Keyboard for Android.

The number one question I keep getting asked is... "Why did I release it on iOS but not on Android? That's backwards, man!"

All I can say is, I've heard you loud and clear, and the Chroma Keyboard is finally here... almost.

I can't get to the second page of characters, and I cannot disable vibrate when typing. Are there any plans to fix this in the near future? I understand it is in beta but obviously I need to be able to use some of those characters 🙂

What's with the wave icon on the keyboard top bar. Pressing it does nothing?

Bought and installed this tonight. The three buttons on the top don't seem to work or do anything. The keyboard is very pretty but settings seem to be limited and auto correct isnt the greatest. I hope you keep working on this though. Very cool project.

Every time I see this thread popup I get excited thinking that I can plug my chroma mat (keyboard device according to Android) to my phone and finally control the colors. Then see its just the software keyboard. 😞

downloaded now, used my Google Opinion Rewards App Money to get this, few problems/annoyance 1) no emoji button 2) no autocorrect (just good to have most the time) 3) font feels a little smaller. but its beta and i get that! love it so far other then thoses 3 things (:

Definitely needs improving but pretty cool, need those extra pages of symbols and emoji tho

So I love the keyboard. But I use the small screen setting. It makes the keyboard almost unusable, also was wondering if there was any way to add an option to use the BlackBerry keyboard style autocorect & also have a number row, jus my suggestions to improve mg experience not sure about anyone else

as for me, gboard is the best keyboard for android and ios with a lot of useful settings such as translator, themes etc.

Yes, Gboard is (was) definitely my favourite on both platforms.

I really like the keyboard and will probably buy it for my andriod phone too (currently have it for ios) - but it will not be usable for me until i can turn off the keyboard sounds..
